NFL Tells Lawmakers DC Team Is Blocking Probe Docs
By Zachary Zagger (February 10, 2022, 10:03 PM EST) -- The NFL has told the U.S. House Committee on Oversight and Reform that the Washington Commanders, not the league, are refusing to share requested documents from the Wilkinson Stekloff LLP investigation into workplace misconduct allegations.
The Wednesday letter to Oversight Committee Chairwoman Carolyn Maloney, D-N.Y., and House Subcommittee on Economic and Consumer Policy Chairman Raja Krishnamoorthi, D-Ill., said the NFL has authority to make decisions on the release of findings from the Wilkinson Stekloff investigation, but that the team is blocking the release of more documents to the committee.
