Furniture Groups' Suit Calls For Swift Liquidation

Law360, New York (February 5, 2010, 6:50 PM EST) -- A U.S. furniture manufacturers trade group has asked the U.S. Court of International Trade for a temporary restraining order to ensure that anti-dumping duties against six Chinese importers are fully collected before the entries are deemed liquidated.

The American Furniture Manufacturers Committee for Legal Trade filed a complaint and accompanying letter in the CIT on Thursday urging the court to temporarily restrain the U.S. government from deeming six importers' entries liquidated until U.S. Customs and Border Protection collects the anti-dumping duties associated with the entries....
