Northwest Trustee Objects To Antitrust Counsel's Fees

Law360 (December 11, 2006, 12:00 AM EST) -- The U.S. Trustee overseeing Northwest Airlines Corp.’s Chapter 11 proceedings has filed an objection in connection with applications for more than $17 million in fees and expenses from professionals retained to help the troubled airline through bankruptcy, including a $1.5 million request from the debtor's special antitrust counsel.

U.S. Trustee Diana G. Adams’ objection, filed Friday, asked U.S. Bankruptcy Judge Allan L. Gropper for a uniform 20% holdback of all of the requested fees and expenses pending the case’s resolution.
