JPMorgan Snags WilmerHale Star

Law360 (December 12, 2006, 12:00 AM EST) -- Financial giant JPMorgan Chase & Co. has lured WilmerHale partner Stephen M. Cutler to head up its worldwide legal and compliance activities, filling a seat left open by Joan Guggenheimer, who died of cancer earlier this year.

The 45-year-old Cutler, who will join JPMorgan as the company’s executive vice president and general counsel in February 2007, hails from WilmerHale’s Washington, D.C. office, where he is partner and co-chair of the securities department.
