High Court Won't Hear Wachovia’s $30M Kodak Suit

Law360 (December 12, 2006, 12:00 AM EST) -- Wachovia Corp. has failed to convince the U.S. Supreme Court to hear its argument that Eastman Kodak Co.’s $30 million case against the bank should have been filed in bankruptcy court rather than federal district court.

The High Court’s refusal on Monday confirms a federal appeals court decision that Kodak’s claim was properly filed in district court, rather than in the Chapter 11 proceedings of retailer Wolf Camera Inc.
