Fed. Circ. Hands Honeywell Win In Night Vision IP Suit

Law360, New York (February 19, 2010, 1:39 PM EST) -- A federal appeals court has overturned a victory for the U.S. government in a patent dispute over night vision goggles for the military, finding that Honeywell International Inc. does in fact deserve infringement damages and just compensation.

The U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit on Thursday reversed and remanded the U.S. Court of Federal Claims' ruling in favor of the government, Lockheed Martin Corp. and L-3 Communications Corp., ordering the lower court to calculate damages for Honeywell.
