Prison Co. Hauled Into $7M Suit Over Unpaid Food Bills

Law360, New York (February 19, 2010, 1:33 PM EST) -- Community Education Centers Inc. is facing a breach of contract suit brought by a Philadelphia-based company that claims the correction facility operator failed to pay it for food services and owes it more than $7 million.

Aramark Correctional Services LLC lodged the suit Thursday in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, accusing New Jersey-based CEC of being in violation of three agreements since October.
