Apple Hits Nokia With Slew Of Counterclaims

Law360, New York (February 22, 2010, 5:15 PM EST) -- Apple Inc. has thrown another jab in its epic patent fight with Nokia Corp., launching breach of contract, antitrust, invalidity and other counterclaims that accuse the Finnish cell phone maker of copying and using its iPhone-related technologies.

In an 83-page document filed Friday with the U.S. District Court for the District of Delaware, Apple denied that it infringed any valid claim of the 10 asserted patents and denied that the patents were essential to any standard.
