ITC Votes To Continue Probe Into Chinese Drill Pipe

Law360, New York (February 23, 2010, 1:35 PM EST) -- The U.S. International Trade Commission has voted to continue an investigation into Chinese drill pipe to determine whether the U.S. should impose countervailing and anti-dumping duties on imports of the products.

The ITC said Friday that there is a reasonable indication that the domestic industry is threatened with material injury as a result of drill pipe and drill collars from China that allegedly are subsidized and sold in the U.S. at less than fair value.
