Class Certified In SC Johnson ERISA Suit

Law360, New York (February 26, 2010, 3:53 PM EST) -- A federal judge has certified a class of S.C. Johnson & Sons Inc. employees in a suit accusing the company of violating the Employee Retirement Income Security Act by backloading pension benefits and underpaying lump sum payments.

Judge J.P. Stadtmueller of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Wisconsin on Thursday granted class certification to two classes and four subclasses to pursue claims against household cleaning supplies company S.C. Johnson.
