Exxon Wants RCRA Claims Cut In Chemical Leak Suit

Law360, New York (February 26, 2010, 4:20 PM EST) -- Exxon Mobil Corp. has asked a federal judge to toss allegations that it violated the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act by refusing to pay for chemical leakage cleanup at a California site the oil giant once owned, arguing that the RCRA did not exist at the time of the leaks.
