Lowe's Says Botched Enviro Study Cost It $14M

Law360, New York (March 1, 2010, 1:18 PM EST) -- Lowe's Home Centers Inc. has hit Tetra Tech Inc. with a breach of contract suit alleging the engineering firm botched an environmental assessment at the site of a future Lowe's store, an error the retailer says has cost it more than $14 million.
