AIG Unit Mulls $3.5B Aircraft Portfolio Sale

Law360, New York (March 2, 2010, 5:49 PM EST) -- An American International Group Inc. aircraft-leasing subsidiary is shopping around its aircraft portfolio as it pursues potential sales that could net up to $3.5 billion in proceeds for the firm.

Proposed portfolios have been presented to potential buyers, and some bids have been received and are being evaluated, International Lease Finance Corp. said in a 10-K annual statement filed with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission on Monday.
