Lyondell, EPA Work Toward Deal In Cleanup Suit

Law360, New York (March 3, 2010, 6:11 PM EST) -- A federal judge has agreed to close the U.S. government's suit accusing bankrupt Lyondell Chemical Co. of shaking off its obligation to remediate environmental violations at various sites around the country, provided that the parties can reach a settlement within the next 60 days.
