Ill. Applebee's Servers Win Class Cert. In Tipping Case

Law360, New York (March 4, 2010, 6:15 PM EST) -- A federal judge has granted class certification to a group of up to 10,000 former servers, bartenders and hosts who worked for an Illinois franchisee of Applebee's International Inc. in a suit alleging the company wrongly deducted a tip credit from their wages.
