Shoe Mania Says $1.15M OT Deal Right Size

Law360, New York (March 8, 2010, 6:09 PM EST) -- New York retail chain Shoe Mania Inc. and a group of employees have decided to bury the hatchet, reaching a $1.15 million settlement agreement to resolve a consolidated overtime collective action dispute.

The proposed deal, filed Friday in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York, must now be approved by Judge Laura Taylor Swain in order to settle the claims brought under the Fair Labor Standards Act.
