Google Dodges Small Rival's Antitrust Suit Over Ads

Law360, New York (March 8, 2010, 2:22 PM EST) -- A New York federal judge has dismissed an antitrust case brought by LLC against Google Inc. over hikes in advertising prices, saying the forum selection clause in the companies' advertising agreements mandated that the case be brought in Google's home state of California.

Judge Sidney H. Stein of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York granted Google's motion to dismiss TradeComet's complaint on Friday, more than a year after the suit was filed.
