Pepperidge Hits Clothier With Goldfish Trademark Suit

Law360, New York (March 9, 2010, 5:57 PM EST) -- Pepperidge Farm Inc., the maker of Goldfish snacks, is suing clothing maker The Gymboree Corp. for trademark infringement over a line of children's clothing that allegedly displays Pepperidge's Goldfish marks.

Pepperidge filed the lawsuit Thursday in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York, saying Gymboree's "Little Goldfish" line, which includes bibs, hats, shirts and shoes, infringes 11 Pepperidge trademarks.
