Sanofi To Pay $15M To Settle Sex Bias Class Action

Law360, New York (March 15, 2010, 3:25 PM EDT) -- Sanofi-Aventis U.S. LLC has agreed to pay $15.4 million to settle a class action accusing the pharmaceutical giant of underpaying and underpromoting about 4,000 female sales representatives.

The plaintiffs filed a motion Friday asking the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York to preliminarily approve a settlement on behalf of all U.S. female sales representatives who worked for the company since May 12, 2005.
