Lafarge Loses Appeal In $45M Katrina Coverage Battle

Law360, New York (March 15, 2010, 8:05 PM EDT) -- A federal appeals court has found that building materials giant Lafarge North America Inc. is largely not entitled to $45 million in insurance coverage for defense costs it racked up in lawsuits over a barge that broke loose and possibly caused a devastating levee breach during Hurricane Katrina.
