Hedge Fund Ex-Employees Can't Squash Contract Suit

Law360, New York (March 24, 2010, 1:25 PM EDT) -- A federal judge has ruled that two former employees of a New York hedge fund who sued over unpaid bonuses will have to face claims that they breached a confidentiality agreement.

Judge Shira A. Scheindlin of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York ruled Tuesday that D.B. Zwirn & Co. LP will be able to pursue the claims, which the fund was barred from bringing as counterclaims in the bonus litigation, as a separate case against Todd Dittmann and Susan Chen....
