Ex-Associate Sues Sedgwick Over Unpaid Fees

Law360, New York (March 26, 2010, 12:47 PM EDT) -- A former associate at Sedgwick Detert Moran & Arnold LLP has sued the firm, claiming it failed to pay her a share of fees from a “very lucrative” piece of commercial litigation work.

Megan Doan filed a complaint Tuesday in the Superior Court of California, County of San Francisco, alleging the firm still owes her $32,000 for bringing in Brian Caffyn, the chairman of renewable energy company UPC Solar, as a client in 2007.
