Workers Drop Doffing Claim In Bristol-Myers Suit

Law360, New York (March 29, 2010, 2:00 PM EDT) -- More than 100 current and former employees of Bristol-Myers Squibb Co. have significantly narrowed the scope of a collective action that contends the company failed to pay wages for time spent donning work gear at various facilities in New Jersey.

The amended complaint lodged Friday in the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey lacked an earlier doffing claim as well as some categories of work gear that were included in the first complaint, which was filed in February 2009.
