Calif. Court Hoses Pollution Suit Over PacifiCorp Dams

Law360, New York (March 31, 2010, 1:52 PM EDT) -- A California appeals court has rejected an attempt by Indian tribal leaders and fishermen to impose state environmental rules on PacifiCorp. Inc. hydroelectric projects that allegedly cause toxic algae blooms, finding that federal law undoubtedly reigns supreme over the federally regulated dams.
