Activision Countersues 'Modern Warfare' Studio Heads

Law360, New York (April 12, 2010, 3:30 PM EDT) -- Video game maker Activision Publishing Inc. has hit back in a breach of contract spat with two former heads of its software development studio Infinity Ward, which created the hit game “Modern Warfare 2,” claiming the executives were insubordinate and tried to damage the company.

Activision filed a cross-complaint against Infinity Ward's former President Jason West and former CEO Vince Zampella on Thursday in Superior Court of the State of California for the County of Los Angeles.
