DOJ Probes Tech Giants Over Hiring Practices

Law360, New York (April 12, 2010, 2:24 PM EDT) -- U.S. antitrust regulators are reportedly ramping up a probe into the recruiting and hiring practices of certain U.S. technology giants, including Google Inc., Apple Inc. and Intel Corp.

The U.S. Department of Justice is investigating whether a number of U.S. technology companies, also including IBM Corp. and IAC/InterActive Corp., have made agreements not to recruit each other's employees, according to the Wall Street Journal, citing unnamed sources familiar with the matter.
