Raytheon Sued Over TCE Cleanup Costs At Ind. Site

Law360, New York (April 12, 2010, 2:18 PM EDT) -- Memcor-Truohm Inc. has filed a suit against Raytheon Co., seeking to force the defense giant to cover the cost of cleaning up a Huntington, Ind., manufacturing facility contaminated with trichloroethylene.

The facility has changed hands several times since the 1980s, but Memcor claims that a Raytheon subsidiary is liable for the cleanup, according to a complaint filed Friday in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Indiana.
