Patent Pilot Bill Reintroduced

Law360 (January 9, 2007, 12:00 AM EST) -- A proposal to create a pilot program for specialized patent courts was reintroduced Monday, after the bill failed to pass in the previous U.S. Congress.

The bill, H.R. 34, was reintroduced Monday by its original authors, Rep. Darrell Issa (R-Calif.), and Rep. Adam Schiff (D-Calif.) with the intention of encouraging enhancement of expertise in patent cases among district judges.
