Kirkland Advises Constellation In $365M Gas Plant Buy

Law360, New York (April 16, 2010, 4:53 PM EDT) -- Energy provider Constellation Energy Group Inc. said Friday that it would purchase two natural gas facilities in Texas from Navasota Holdings Texas Partners LP for $365 million.

The facilities — the Colorado Bend Energy Center in Wharton, Texas, and the Quail Run Energy Center in Odessa, Texas — are both 550-megawatt natural gas-fired confirmed-cycle power generation plants.
