Appeals Court Upholds Entrepreneur Media's Award In Trademark Suit

Law360, New York (June 20, 2004, 12:00 AM EDT) -- The 9th Circuit Court of Appeals has upheld Entrepreneur Media’s award of a permanent injunction and over $1 million in damages and fees in a trademark infringement case brought against a publicity firm targeting small businesses.

A three-judge panel upheld a trial court's decision that Scott Smith and his company, EntrepreneurPR, deliberately and willfully infringed Entrepreneur Media’s trademark, Entrepreneur Media said.
