White & Case Reps Calpine In $1.65B Power Plant Deal

Law360, New York (April 21, 2010, 1:23 PM EDT) -- Energy company Calpine Corp. has reached a $1.65 billion deal to acquire a group of Mid-Atlantic power plants from Pepco Holdings Inc., in a move designed to boost Calpine's presence in the region.

The deal announced Wednesday involves Pepco's Conectiv Energy wholesale generation energy subsidiary, which consists of 18 operating power plants and one still under construction.
