Ricci Trumps Injunction In NAACP Fire Dept. Bias Suit

Law360, New York (April 26, 2010, 2:34 PM EDT) -- A federal judge has overturned a preliminary injunction barring a New Jersey fire department from implementing residency requirements for job applicants that the NAACP claims lead to discrimination, following an appeals court's order to reconsider the relief in light of Ricci v. DeStefano.
