Judge Cuts Advertisers’ Clicks Case V. Facebook

Law360, New York (April 26, 2010, 6:17 PM EDT) -- A federal judge has trimmed down a putative breach of contract class action alleging Facebook Inc. improperly charged advertisers on the social networking website for fraudulent and invalid ad clicks.

Judge Jeremy Fogel of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California on Thursday dismissed claims related to fraudulent clicks and other allegations against Facebook, but allowed the plaintiffs to amend their complaint.
