Adelphia's Chapter 11 Plan Confirmation Postponed

Law360 (January 17, 2007, 12:00 AM EST) -- The bankruptcy proceedings of Adelphia Communications Corp. were delayed Tuesday when the court pushed back confirmation of the company’s fifth plan of reorganization, which was approved earlier this month.

A 10-day stay of the confirmation order was set to expire, but a judge in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York extended it until next week, the cable company said.
