Former Cozen Attorney Steps Up Spat With Firm

Law360, New York (May 3, 2010, 4:44 PM EDT) -- A former partner at Cozen O'Connor has filed counterclaims against the firm, saying he should have received a $500,000 bonus for generating certain threshold “billing attorney” and “working attorney” revenues, and for that reason he never paid back a $250,000 loan.

In papers filed Friday with the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York, Richard S. Fischbein said the performance bonus would have been sufficient to offset the $250,000 loan and leave him with an additional $250,000.
