Chinese Oil Drilling Pipe Imports Hurt US Industry: ITC

Law360, New York (May 3, 2010, 5:58 PM EDT) -- Weeks after the U.S. Department of Commerce determined that Chinese exporters were selling certain oil country tubular goods at less than fair value in the U.S., the U.S. International Trade Commission said Monday that domestic manufacturers were materially injured or threatened by those imports.

As a result of the ITC's affirmative finding, Commerce will issue an anti-dumping duty order on imports of the products from China.
