Delta Asks To Solicit Creditor Approval For Ch.11 Plan

Law360, New York (January 17, 2007, 12:00 AM EST) -- Ignoring the wooing efforts of would-be suitor US Airways, Delta Air Lines Inc. requested permission from the Bankruptcy Court late Friday to solicit creditor approval for its Chapter 11 plan.

In a statement filed on January 12, Delta asked that the court determine by Feb. 1 all creditors who are entitled to vote on the plan, all aircraft security holders entitled to instruct aircraft trustees and creditors and interest holders entitled to receive non-voting materials.
