Smith & Wesson Merger Kills Barrier Co.'s IP Suit: Atty

Law360, New York (May 14, 2010, 5:06 PM EDT) -- Traffic barrier provider Secure USA Inc. told a judge that it should not be sanctioned for using competitor Universal Safety Response Inc.’s trademark for domain and search term purposes, arguing that the competitor lost rights to intellectual property through a merger with firearm maker Smith & Wesson Holding Corp.
