Legal Additions Revives Kowalski Breach Suit

Law360, New York (May 20, 2010, 5:48 PM EDT) -- A federal judge in California has agreed to reconsider a case Legal Additions LLC brought against the founder of fellow legal recruiter Kowalski & Associates Inc. for reneging on a commission-sharing deal involving Mitchell Silberberg & Knupp LLP.

Magistrate Judge Edward Chen of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California on Tuesday granted Legal Additions' motion to reconsider, finding that the court had previously considered only the liability of the Kowalski firm and not that of its principal, Jerome Kowalski.
