TV's Trudeau Let Off Hook For Contempt Ruling, Jail

Law360, New York (May 20, 2010, 2:57 PM EDT) -- A federal appeals court has let controversial weight-loss guru Kevin Trudeau off the hook for a 30-day jail sentence for misrepresenting aspects of his methods, saying a district court in a product liability case exceeded its authority in holding Trudeau in criminal contempt for urging his fans to flood the court with e-mails defending him.
