Judge Greenlights H&R Block $1.4M OT Settlement

Law360, New York (May 25, 2010, 4:37 PM EDT) -- A federal judge has signed off on a $1.4 million agreement to end a wage-and-hour class action that accused H&R Block Financial Advisors Inc. of improperly classifying its financial advisers as exempt from overtime pay.

Judge Dean D. Pregerson signed an order Monday granting final approval to the settlement in the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California.
