Lime Wire Seeks Reconsideration Amid 'Clear Errors'

Law360, New York (May 27, 2010, 10:18 AM EDT) -- Lime Wire LLC has asked the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York to reconsider its summary judgment order finding that the company and chairman Mark Gorton induced users of the LimeWire file-sharing software to infringe copyrights held by a group of record labels.

In papers filed with the court Wednesday, the defendants argued that genuine issues of fact remain as to whether LimeWire users engaged in direct infringement of the labels' works, and that the court made clear errors in granting summary...
