BWAY Packs Away Stockholder Suit Over Merger

Law360, New York (June 2, 2010, 5:31 PM EDT) -- BWAY Holding Co. said Wednesday that it had reached terms on a settlement with shareholders challenging Madison Dearborn Partners LLC's $915 million deal to take the packaging container company private.

According to an 8-K filing with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, BWAY stockholders filed a complaint in Georgia's Fulton County Superior Court on April 5, barely a week after private equity firm Madison Dearborn announced its acquisition of the packaging container company.
