5th Circ. Remands Halliburton Oil Rig Accident Case

Law360, New York (June 2, 2010, 6:03 PM EDT) -- In an unusual case where a district judge dismissed a suit against Halliburton Energy Services Inc. and others over the deaths of 22 workers in an oil rig accident, then recused himself, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit has remanded the matter to another judge in the lower court to consider whether to set aside the dismissal.
