Refco Trustee's Claims V. Mayer Brown Still Won't Fly

Law360, New York (June 4, 2010, 10:57 AM EDT) -- A special master has recommended that most of the claims against Mayer Brown LLP and auditor Grant Thornton LLP be dismissed in the Refco Inc. bankruptcy trustee's case alleging the firms knew about the financial company’s massive fraud scheme, thwarting yet another attempt by the trustee to put Mayer Brown on the hook.
