7 Toyota Shareholder Suits Consolidated In Calif.

Law360, New York (June 9, 2010, 5:36 PM EDT) -- A federal judge has consolidated seven shareholder suits against Toyota Motor Corp. but refused to tap the lead plaintiff and counsel until the U.S. Supreme Court decides whether foreign plaintiffs can sue non-U.S. companies in U.S. courts.

Judge Dale S. Fischer of the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California consolidated the cases Monday, ruling that she would appoint a lead plaintiff and lead counsel after the high court decides Morrison v. National Australia Bank Ltd.
