Oil Cos. Lose Bid To Toss $4M Waste Cleanup Suit

Law360, New York (June 9, 2010, 6:54 PM EDT) -- Caldo Oil Co. and Nella Oil Co. LLC have lost their bid to exit real estate developer and contractor Green Valley Corp.'s suit seeking more than $4.3 million in damages and cleanup costs related to petroleum hydrocarbon contamination at several properties adjacent to their gas stations.

Judge Jeremy Fogel of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California declined Tuesday to grant Caldo and Nella's motion to dismiss the complaint for lack of subject matter jurisdiction.
