AIG Must Produce Docs In $1B Insurance Fraud Case

Law360, New York (June 9, 2010, 2:26 PM EDT) -- A federal judge has ordered American International Group Inc. to turn over as many as 400,000 documents to competitors that have sued the insurance giant over an alleged $1 billion workers' compensation fraud scheme.

AIG will have to review all 400,000 documents it has collected for privileged information and produce nonprivileged documents on a rolling basis, U.S. Magistrate Judge Sidney I. Schenkier told the company on Friday in U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois.
