Hydrogen Peroxide Indirect Purchasers Win $4.2M Deal

Law360, New York (June 10, 2010, 2:10 PM EDT) -- The long-running multidistrict litigation over alleged price-fixing in the hydrogen peroxide industry is nearing its conclusion, as FMC Corp., Arkema Inc. and the other defendants in the indirect purchaser action have agreed to settle for a total of $4.2 million.

FMC, Arkema, Evonik Degussa GmbH, Akzo Nobel Inc., Kemira Chemicals Inc., Solvay SA and the latter three companies' affiliates have agreed to end the litigation, the plaintiffs said in a motion filed Wednesday in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania.
