Ex-Cendant Executives Avoid Prison Terms

Law360 (January 30, 2007, 12:00 AM EST) -- Two former executives of Cendant Corp. have been sentenced to probation for their roles in a $500 million accounting fraud scheme at the company, just days after the company’s former chairman was handed a 12-year prison sentence.

Former accounting vice president Anne M. Pember, who pled guilty to her role in the conspiracy in 2000, was given a two-year probation term and 200 hours of community service.
